About the Author:
J.N. Chiasson is an Acadian Canadian living in Alberta, Canada. He is a Ngakpa practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism (a.k.a. Vajrayana) and has received extensive instruction within the Nyingma ("old translation") school. He is also a Thangka painter and creates a number of ritual objects and implements that are used in the Tibetan Buddhist faith. The illustrations in the book and website are his creations and are inspired by the mythologies of India, Tibet, China, and Japan. He lives with his husband and a large black dog by the name of Nakpo Chenpo.
